Kate Joined the QPS after moving from NZ. Policed frontline on the Gold Coast before moving to the Crime Team. Diagnosed with severe PTSD  before being forceably retired by the police.  This cycle ride is the final part of my recovery (pushing personal boundaries) before transitioning into a role where I can assist, educate and support others who find themselves (through no fault of their own) battling PTSD and/or mental health issues relating to their employment.
